Although you’re correct, essentially the definition of loch is a lake. Since many, such as myself at one time, who do not live in Scotland may not recognize the term “loch”, I used the word lake within the article.

Always interesting anything to do with Loch Morar and its monster. Camped there many years ago and made many local freinds. Went back year after year and eventually was shown part of a skeleton washed up on the shore line. It seemed to be part of a neck of something huge. Never will forget that and the rest!
