In ancient lore, shadow people are considered to be demons summoned through black magic or similar ritual to wreak havoc on an intended victim. More modern and scientific approaches have attempted to isolate this phenomenon as nothing more than the product of optical illusions.

In addition, yet another explanation attributed to this process is the prospect of hypnagogia. Hypnagogia is a state of mind usually accompanying the process of first awakening. In any event, wherein the individual does experience this paranormal event, it should be treated as a very genuine encounter for that individual and as such ought to be respected as an actual haunting or visitation by a spiritual entity. In-other-words don’t be so quick to dismiss the experience that it leaves the individual with more questions than answers or more fear than certainty.

As a rule, shadow people are there to cause havoc, not necessarily physical harm. If physical harm does occur it’s usually the result of the individual’s reaction more so than any direct action of the shadow entity. Their presence is much like a parasite feeding off the negative energy of its host. The closer this entity can get to their host the greater the chaos it can create and feed off of.

What to Expect of Shadow People

To come in contact with a shadow person can be very frightening to the unaware. At first you may get glimpses of them through your peripheral vision as dark silhouettes cast against a light background or you might even see them fleetingly at night, usually as dense black spaces in the dark accompanied by an equally impenetrable feeling of apprehension.

Shadow people may try to make direct contact through a dream or astral projection at some point in order to grant permission for their entry and/or attachment. If you see them in a dream they will generally appear as a dark gray mass of energy with generic human features, i.e. arms, legs, body, head, face, smile, etc. In the case where they do present themselves in this manner, remain calm and demand that they leave your presence immediately without question.

If remaining calm isn’t in your vocabulary at that moment; remember, you’re a sovereign entity capable of accepting or rejecting anything that comes into your life. Shadow people cannot attach to individuals without their express consent, but it should also be mentioned that they are extremely tricky when it comes to obtaining that consent; so, be aware and beware.

Although shadow people cannot attach without permission this shouldn’t be seen to imply that they cannot cause havoc in your immediate environment, they can and will. The silver lining to all this doom and gloom scenario is that that shadow people will not stick around long if they can’t generate enough negative energy to sustain their presence and it does take a lot of energy.

The dangers associated with shadow people are very clear and at no time should you ever try to entertain their presence or give them permission to enter your life. Another of the world’s great mysteries is the lost civilization of Atlantis. Atlantis was said to be a very advanced society that disappeared off the face of the planet. Many speculate that it is beneath the area that is now known as the Bermuda Triangle. They also hypothesize that it is this culture that is, for some reason, causing these strange disappearances.

The most popular explanation at this point is that of methane gas. Gas pockets have been found beneath the ocean, and it has been proven that if methane gas is released into the surrounding water it can cause ships to sink. It has also been suggested that if the gas bubble is large enough it can enter the atmosphere and disrupt a plane’s engine. It may even ignite the air surrounding the plane.

Another hypothesis suggests that, about 11 00 years ago, a large comet crashed into this area of the Atlantic Ocean. This comet has some kind of strange magnetic properties that cause the disruption of the navigation systems on both ships and planes. It has even been suggested that the comet could be affecting the actual engines of some planes.

One theory states that the Nazca people who lived in the area created the lines. The pictures show not only animals and plants, but other strange beings as well. Due to the size of the geoglyphs, it would have taken decades to design them. The drawings were made by removing the reddish stones and pebbles native to the area, thereby leaving the white ground exposed.

Another popular theory suggests that aliens created these enormous works of art. If they were not actually made by the aliens, the hypothesis suggests that their design was conceived by some type of superior being that directed the people.

Photographs leaked to the Internet last week taken by the Cassiopeia probe on the so-called dark side of the Moon have stirred up considerable controversy among both astronomers and conspiracy theorists. The photos reveal a structure in the Schroedinger crater near the southern lunar polar region; official sources have failed to provide an explanation for it. Scientists are baffled by the discovery, and numerous UFO and conspiracy researchers have interpreted it to prove the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence.

The photographs in question are indistinct, due in part to the orbital distance of the probe and interference from ionised moon dust hanging in clouds above the crater floor, but a regular shape can be discerned in them, located slightly to the side of a circular crater approximately 1.5 kilometres in diameter, itself situated inside a larger, irregular depression. This is not the first time that regular objects have been visible on pictures taken in space. Indeed, parallels have already been drawn to the infamous face and pyramids found in the Cydonia region of Mars. Astronomers disagree, however, whether the Lunar Swastika is an actual structure or an optical illusion.
Hindus, Aliens or Nazis?

The lunar discovery is especially intriguing thanks to its extraordinary shape. The anomaly is clearly shaped like the swastika, a symbol used, among others, by the National Socialists in the 1930’s and 1940’s, leading to numerous conclusions that the structure is attributable to Nazis who fled to the Moon after the Second World War. Throughout history especially in Europe you can find accounts of highwaymen hauntings. They have been known to haunt, their places of execution, their hideouts and their favorite spots to rob people.

One of the most famous highwaymen was the rogue Dick Turpin. Dick was born in 1705 in Essex, England. As a young man he joined the infamous band of robbers the Gregory Gang. His life of crime included, cattle theft, smuggling, highway robbery and murder. He was caught and executed in 1739.

If you want to see Dick Turpin it is said that his ghost now haunts an Inn in Kent. He has been sighted by a number of patrons quietly seated at a table writing with a quill pen. He is said to be sporting a plumed hat and wearing a green velvet jacket.

Another famous highwayman turned ghost is that of Tom Black. The man was called nicknamed Tom Black because of his jet black hair and dark complexion. Tom was eventually caught and hung at the junction of Union St and Tavistock in Bedford. The story claims that the locals were so afraid of Tom Black that when they buried him at the crossroads they put a steak through his heart to keep him from rising from the grave. Sadly according to locals this was not effective.

Many people have claimed to have seen the Ghost of Tom. And he has not been sighted alone. He is rumored to have found a ghostly friend. The second ghost has not been identified but people in years past have been so terrorized that they would not go out in the dark for fear of encountering Tom and his pal.

Lychpole Manor is another place that claims to have a resident highwayman ghost. It is said that at the turn of the 19th century travelers were set upon by a highwayman on the stretch of tracks between the village of Landing and Steying. The un-named highwayman was eventually caught and convicted.

In the tradition of the times the guilty man was hung by the crossroads. Before his execution he swore revenge on the town. He claimed that no-one would pass over his body easily, they would feel the bump and jolt of his remains forever. Strangely it is said that they actually placed his grave right across the road. The following day the towns people were shocked to discover that the head of the highway man had become unburied. This was an event that was to happen many times in the future. And people who travelled the road at night claimed that as they passed that spot they hit a rock or big bump. But when they examined the area closer there was nothing there.

For whatever reason the ghost stories surrounding highwayman are numerous and varied. These spooky, strange tales come from all over the world. Maybe it is because so many of them died in such violent ways.

Within the interview she claims that many of the shows have been staged and evidence faked.

Tales of this animal have been found throughout native cultures in North America. Since 1900 alone, there have been well over 400 accounts of people having seen this animal or that have found evidence of its presence. One of the most famous sightings of this creature occurred in 1967. Robert Gimlin and Roger Patterson captured on film a large ape like animal walking through the woods. This film is still said to be some of the most credible pieces of evidence of the creature’s existence in the world today.

There are many theories as to what this creature actually is. One theory suggests that it is a gigantopithecus that has managed to adapt and survive. Gigantopithecus, the largest species of ape, lived more than a million years ago. Fossils of this large ape have been found all over the Asian continent. The belief is that the gigantopithecus migrated across the Bering Strait along with many other animals of the period.

The legend of Bigfoot dates back may centuries and sightings have been reported continuously since before the white man came to this region of America and they continue today.

A big mystery surrounding the graveyard is how it actually got it’s name. There are two theories as to the origin of the cemetery’s name.

The first is based on the belief that there was an abundance of bachelors living in the area because they were helping to build the Illinois, Michigan canal. The second theory is that the cemetery was actually named after one of the first families in the area, the Batchelder family and the word grove was used because the area was heavily wooded. But, it is not the name of the cemetery that attracts people but rather the possibility of seeing ghosts.

Probably the most famous sighting is the picture of the Madonna or White Lady which was taken in 1991 by Judith Huff-felz using an infrared film and a 35mm camera. The photograph shows a spirit sitting on a marker. Numerous sources have tried to discredit the photo, but to date nobody has been able to prove what is actually in the picture. In addition, nobody has been able to prove that the picture has been tampered with or altered in any way.

The cemetery is surrounded by a lagoon, which has given rise to a number of local legends. One of the legends is about a local farmer and his plough horse. It is said that the horse and farmer got too close to the lagoon and they fell in. Numerous people have claimed that they have seen the farmer still ploughing right beside the graveyard.

It is also said that during the days of prohibition when the mob was ruling the city of Chicago the graveyard and the lagoon surrounding the graveyard became a popular body dumping site. Nobody is quite sure how many bodies were dumped here or how often but it is said that a number of male ghosts have been seen walking around the lagoon and the graveyard.

Visitors to the graveyard also claim to have seen ghost cars from the twenties racing down the road. These cars have even been known to crash into approaching vehicles.

Another weird site at this graveyard is the vanishing farmhouse. A number of people claim that as they approached the cemetery they could see a well maintained farm house and yard. But if they tried to approach the house it simply vanished. Accounts of this house are always the same, although the location seems to change.

And probably the strangest sighting at this graveyard is the two headed ghost. Nobody seems to know where this came from or in fact much about it at all.

The recorded sightings of this strange lake creature date back to the mid 1800’s. One tale claims that a man who was crossing the lake with a group of horses got too close to the island. The horses were pulled under and disappeared.

In 1926 the creature was sighted by people in not less than thirty cars. It was a staggering amount and the papers noted that anything seen by this many people at one time should definitely be investigated.

In the summer of 1947 the creature once again appeared to large group of people. Reports came in from a number of different boaters on the lake that day. All of them having seen the same strange animal at the same time. It doesn’t need to be said that it is unusual for so many people to see one of these creatures at the same time. Many of the witnesses were extremely credible and it is hard to doubt their accounts.

Sightings have continued throughout the years and scientists have yet to come up with an answer.
